In March 2026, YouTube held a 28.69% share of Azerbaijan’s social media market across all platforms, according to Statcounter data cited by AzerNEWS.
This marks an increase of 4.57 percentage points compared to February and a significant rise of 14.16 percentage points year-on-year.
Facebook ranked second with a 26.32% share, despite a sharp monthly decline of 11.03 percentage points. On an annual basis, however, its share rose by 18.68 percentage points, even as broader trends indicate a notable contraction.
Instagram followed with 19.01%, gaining 2.28 percentage points month-on-month but declining by 20.28 percentage points compared to March 2025.
Pinterest placed fourth with 8.69%, experiencing both monthly and annual declines, while X rounded out the top five at 7.77%, posting gains both monthly and year-on-year.
