
Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan agreed to establish a joint venture to process vegetables and to open an investment fund. It was stated following the results of the first session of Kyrgyz-Azerbaijan Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation, 24.kg news agency writes.
The co-chairmen - deputy First Vice Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yaqub Eyyubov and First Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Aaly Karashev signed a corresponding protocol.
It is planned to construct an oil-processing factory, midget and large power plants, to organize refresher course for the Plant Protection Service specialists from the Kyrgyz Republic.
Besides, the parties discussed collaboration issues in humanitarian field. In particular, founding of Heydar Aliyev park in Bishkek city and provision of Azerbaijani Sunday schools in Kyrgyzstan with books and textbooks.
