SOCAR publicizes data on installed gas smart meters

As of April 1, SOCAR's Azerigaz production association installed 345,912 gas meters, operating on the basis of smart cards on the territory of Azerbaijan, SOCAR said on Friday.

Smart meters made by French company ?TRON are being installed in the country.

Besides Baku, the installation of meters was launched in Agsu, Hajigabul, Naftalan, Goranboy, Sabirabad, Goygol regions, as well as in Ganja and Sumgait.

Azerigaz deals with the issues of transportation and sale of gas on the territory of Azerbaijan.
