According to APA, E.Nasirov also added that the issue of share depends on the share of Azerbijani oil to be pumped by BTC.

"If the pipeline is expanded, it means the BTC will pump different volumes of oil. We don't want the expansion to occur without attraction of Azerbaijani oil", said Nasirov.

The due announcement was made by SOCAR vice president Elshad Nasirov.

BP insists on expansion of the BTC pipeline capacity. It should be noted that the current capacity of the pipeline, makes up 1,000,000 barrels per day and it is planned to raise the capacity by the end of this year.

Nasirov noted that the sides have differences and "there is a need to come to an agreement, adhering to the interests of the sides".

He said the differences is connected with the issue of the property after it is re-compensated. The BTC is proposed to be re-compensated in 2020.

According to Nasirov, the subject of talks is the possible expansion of the BTC capacity up to 1,2;1,6 and 2 million barrels.
