Sangachal-Gazimammad pipeline to be commissioned in June

The pipeline will come on line at its full capacity in June. State Oil Company (SOCAR) told APA that the pipelay activities are in two directions. 200 people are being employed in laying 23km pipeline to Galmasadak (underground gasholder) and 12km pipeline has been laid. Azfen is engaged in pipelay activities in 11km of the pipeline.

And at the same time, 24km pipeline from Gazimammad to Sangachal is under construction and, pipes in the length of 1,200 km have been welded.

The project is aimed at laying 48" pipeline (47 km) from Sangachal to Gazimammad to deliver Shah Deniz gas.
