French Hollande considerin Azerbaijan visit

French President Francois Hollande will make an official visit to Azerbaijan this year.

During a meeting with Azerbaijani ambassador to France, Elchin Amirbeyov, Francois Hollande confirmed his intention to visit Azerbaijan this year at the invitation of Azerbaijani president.

A brief conversation took place between the Azerbaijani Ambassador Elchin Amirbeyov and French President Hollande during the annual meeting, held at the Elysee Palace on the occasion of the New Year with the participation of diplomatic corps accredited in France, the embassy told Trend.

The ambassador conveyed Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's New Year congratulations to the French president.

Expressing gratitude, President Hollande asked to convey his congratulations and best wishes to his Azerbaijani counterpart, and expressed satisfaction with the recent development of French-Azerbaijani relations.
