The signature collection campaign to support Azerbaijani army officer Ramil Safarov`s extradition to Azerbaijan will start in Turkey.
The campaign will be launched by Igdir`s Organization for Fighting Against Baseless Armenian Allegations (ASIMDER) and will reportedly encompass all regions of Turkey.
Ramil Safarov was a lieutenant of the Azerbaijani Army who was convicted for the murder of Armenian officer Gurgen Markaryan during a NATO Partnership for Peace program in 2004. He was sentenced to life imprisonment in Hungary.
