Chairman of the Astana-based Azerbaijani Cultural Centers Union Vidadi Salahov sent a letter to President of France Nicolas Sarkozy condemning French parliament`s controversial bill on “Armenian genocide” denial.
The letter claims Armenian armed groups killed thousands of civilians during the World War I. They also committed atrocities in 90s in Azerbaijan, in particular, in Khojaly and other places.
The author expressed regret over French parliament`s turning a blind eye to aggression against Azerbaijan.
