Chairman of “Azerbaijan” Society in UAE Samir Imanov has sent a letter of protest to the Chairman of French Senate Pierre Bell and Chairman of the National Assembly Bernard Accoyer, Azerbaijan State Committee on Work with Diaspora said.
The letter says: “Azerbaijanis living in the Arab states of the Persian Gulf call on members of the French parliament to stop discussions on so-called “armenian genocide”. We advice the members of the French parliament to discuss Khojaly Genocide committed by Armenians 20 years ago instead of so-called “armenian genocide”. If the discussions continued then 100 millions of Azerbaijanis and Turks will launch a campaign against foreign policy of France”.
