2010 has been very successful for Azerbaijani wrestlers.
In total, Azerbaijani athletes have won 66 medals - 29 gold, 17 silver and 20 bronze medals in world and European championships as well as in Junior Olympics this year.
Of particular note is the success of young Azerbaijani wrestlers in the First Junior Olympics held in August in Singapore where Azerbaijan’s five wrestlers won four gold and one silver medals.
