Azerbaijan's national rowing team have signed a new assistant manager and oarsman, both from Ukraine. Sergey Prodan, 66, will help the team's manager Rudiger Hauffe to train young rowers. 20-year-old Igor Khmar will represent Azerbaijan in the doubles' event.
