Azerbaijani fighters have brought home five medals, including two silvers and three bronzes from the European Karate Shinkyokushin Championships held in Wroclaw, Poland.

Emin Ismayilli and Salahat Hasanov won silver medals in the men’s 65kg and 85kg weight categories respectively.

Bronzes came from Aligismat Hasanov in the men`s 60kg and Seyfaddin Namazov in the 70kg class.

Solmaz Zeynalli claimed bronze in the women`s 60kg division.

The tournament featured 400 karate fighters from 28 countries, including 15 from Azerbaijan.
