Cristiano Ronaldo said he was proud to form "part of the history" of Real Madrid and spoke of his desire to win the Champions League: "I've always dreamt about winning this competition with this club".

"I think I now form part of the history of this club, not just because of the goals. Things have gone well for me and I'm going to try to win as much as possible at this club because it's the one I like most", he said in an interview with UEFA journalists.

The Portuguese believes one of the greatest challenges in his career lies in wait in the final in Lisbon against Atlético. "We've been trying to win the trophy for many years. That's why we've felt positive pressure to win the Champions League since our first day at the club. This year, we feel we're just one step away from winning it", he added.

"Pressure forms part of football and playing for Real. We're used to having to always win, but that's a good thing. I like pressure because it makes me play better. It gives you special adrenaline", Ronaldo continued.

Ronaldo then praised Ancelotti: "It has been a very pleasant experience right from the beginning. He's an excellent person and a unique human being. As a manager he's won everything, which says it all. What I like most is that he is a modest person and a friend of mine and everyone who works with him. I'm very happy working with them and hope they stay for many years to come".
