It is probably the most in-form front line in all of Europe. The famous BBC - Bale, Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo - have netted 48 of Real Madrid's 73 goals in the league. The trident has scored 65.7% of the team's goals.

They provided fresh confirmation of their scintillating form just this week. All three of them scored for their respective countries - Cristiano netted two for Portugal, Benzema one for France and Bale bagged another for Wales. What is more, they were all brilliant goals.

It is nigh on impossible to imagine a Real game in which one of them does not find the net. The last time was at the Bernabéu against Atlético in the cup. The scorers that day were Pepe, Jesé and Di María (3-0).

In the league, Cristiano totals 23 goals and 6 assists, the Frenchman 15 goals and 6 assists, whilst Bale has netted 10 goals and played in a teammate to score on 10 occasions.

The Welshman has proven himself as a great goalscorer. In spite of the injuries, the settling-in period and the pressure of his transfer fee, he has responded with 14 goals in all competitions.

The other key is Benzema's superb form. He is Real's top scorer in 2014. The Frenchman has managed to act as the perfect complement to his two teammates. He is in charge of holding up the ball and creating spaces, alongside two cruise missiles in the form of CR7 and Bale. He has recently added brilliant finishing to his ability to provide assists.
