Vice president of the International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation Peter Farkas has climbed the “Heydar Peak” as part of his visit to Azerbaijan. He was accompanied in his journey by Azerbaijan Air and Extreme Sports Federation (FAIREX) president Huseyngulu Baghirov.

At an altitude of 3000m, Farkas met with Azerbaijani alpinists preparing to climb the peak.

Heydar Peak is located at an altitude of 3751 metres on the Gizil Gaya range of the Greater Caucasus Mountains.
