The staff of the Departments for Transport Infrastructure and Passengers at the "Azerbaijan Railways" has shifted to intense mode of work due to onset of summer, the company said.
A number of measures have been taken to ensure safety of passengers and trains. The staff of the Infrastructure Department checks the railway line several times a day.
Acording to the company, dry grass is removed to prevent spontaneous combustion because of the heat. Moreover, before the trip, the cooling system is checked.
