The third international Festival of Diversity was held on May 17 – 26 at UNESCO under the patronage of the First Lady of Azerbaijan, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva.
The festival catalogue on its first page has a photograph of Ms. Mehriban Aliyeva and information reflecting her large-scale activity to promote and protect intangible cultural heritage in Azerbaijan.
A series of concerts organized as part of the festival featured 12-year-old Azerbaijani violinist Elvin Ganiyev and Qatar's Symphonic Orchestra comprised of 100 musicians from 31 countries including young Azeri violinist Kamran Mammadzadeh.
