The Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan and UNICEF Baku Office signed a plan of action for 2010 on reforms in the field of protection of children and in the system of education.
In the frame of the Ministry and UNICEF cooperation, since May 2009 a series of trainings have been conducted to raise management skills of the staff of secondary schools, Minister Mardanov said.
Stressing the importance of reforms in the field of protection and education of children, head of the UNICEF office in Azerbaijan Marc Herword said the Plan of Action envisions implementation of several projects.
The Agreement was signed by Minister Misir Mardanov and Mark Herword.
