A man fell down into the Qoshqarchay river of Dashkesan region of Azerbaijan during heavy rainfalls on July 8.

Azad Rahimov, deputy chief of Dashkeran police department, told Day.Az that body of National army officer Rasul Mamedov, who fell down to Qoshqarchay river of Dashkeran was found at about 12:00 today.
He said the officer's body was found 300-400 meters from the place, where he fell down to the river.
According to Rahimov, the body was found by soldiers of the National army, who examined the river again after the water level there lowered.
"We have examined this place earlier as well, but due to flood officer's body was not found. Today, when water level lowered, Rasul Mamedov's body was found stuck to big stones.

Body of senior lieutenant of the Azerbaijani national army Rasul Mamedov, who was drowned during flood in the Dashkesan region, has been found, said spokesman for Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry Eldar Sabiroghlu.
He noted that the body was transferred to officer's parents.

Azerbaijan's Defense Minister confirmed that National army officer Rasul Mamedov was drowned in the river, said the press service for the Ministry.
Mamedov is a senior lieutenant, commander of a division in N military unit. Mamedov, born in 1982, was recruited in 1999 in the military enlistment office of Khatai region.
The Ministry also confirmed that officer's body was not found and search is underway.

As is reported, the incident occurred in Zivzek village. The falling person was officer of N military unit Rasul Mamedov, serving in the Dashkesan region. He was riding a horse and fell down into the river.
According to local residents, the body has not been found yet, though the search with participation of Dashkesan and Geygel police continued the whole day.
Officials have not commented on the incident yet. It was reported that search of Rasul Mamedov's body still continues.
