Pragalos said the main goal of his visit is to familiarize himself with preparation for the European Youth Taekwondo Championship due to be held in the Azerbaijan capital October 25-27 next year.

ETU Secretary General, Gerrit Eissink, said during the competition the Union will hold a meeting to elect its new president.

Eissink also said that beginning from 2007, the European Taekwondo Union will start implementing new rules to ease the referees' task. AzerTAg
