The Milli Majlis Permanent Commission on Human rights injected supplements and changes into the bill on TV broadcasting at sitting held on Wednesday. The major issue was related to issue of license for advertisement of strong drinks.

MPs regarded broadcasting of advertisement of such character as possible on the conditions of application of some restrictions, Trend informs.

Adila Abbasova, the head of the Milli Majlis Social Legislation Department, informed MPs about supllements and changes into the Law on advertisment. She said that advertisment of strong drinks from 19.00pm to 23.00pm was inexpedient. Such advertisements can be broadcasted from 23.00pm to 7.00am. Besides, the bill bans advertisement of drugs, arms, pornography, tobacco product, product dangerous for physical and physical development of children.

Nushiravan Maharramov, the Chairman of the National TV Broadcasting Council, mentioned importance of these supplements and changes. The commission decided to put the bill for discussion at the spring session of the Milli Majlis.

The meeting of the commission also considered plan of legislative work for the spring session of the Milli Majlis in 2006.
