The leader of the League Yusif Vakilov expressing an attitude related to the report on behalf of our country before the Child's Committee of UNO, talked about the works not implemented for the protection of child's rights.

Saying of existence of over 3 million children in Azerbaijan, Y.Vakilov stated that, though 4 reports have been submitted to UNO Child's Committee in different years, the problems that children face have not been solved so far and not necessary measures have been implemented by the Cabinet of Ministers as well as Ministry of Youth and Sport concerning this work.

The head of the League stated that, 142 children have been taken out from the country since 2000, but the responsible organizations haven't implemented any measures with regard to the problem. He also touched on the problems existing in the kindergartens nowadays.

Y.Vakilov spoke about the hard situation of 23 thousand children in the boarding schools. Giving information about 33 children's committing suicide within the last year, the head of the League has related the accidents with violation of the child rights in that enterprise.

Y.Vakilov considered teaching the children of their rights to be of important issues in order to prevent such kind of cases to happen.
