A Council of Europe report detailing trends in organized crime in 2005 is now open to the public.

According to the information given to APA from the Council of Europe Information Office in Azerbaijan, the report provides facts and figures on organized criminal activities in Europe, ranging from drug trafficking, to trafficking in human beings, cybercrime and money laundering.

The report gives facts and figures for the 46 Council of Europe member states as well as showing global trends. A special chapter focuses on economic crime - presently estimated to be the most profitable area for organized criminals.
