Baku will host Days of Turkish Culture in September, Cultural Counselor of the Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan Sayyid Ahmad Arslan said.
Arslan noted that the Culture Days were planned to be held in 2013, but later the event was postponed.
As part of the Culture Days this September, it is planned to hold screenings, concerts, including performance of folk singers ashugs.
Sayyid Ahmed Arslan said that Turkish ashugs will perform together with Azerbaijani singers at the concert.
Exhibitions of Turkish paintings, photos and crafts are also expected to open during the days. The exhibits will help visitors better understand the close relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan
Turkish culture is very close to Azerbaijani one and expected to gather many people.
