The winners of quiz about Azerbaijan held in Germany are visiting the south regions of country, AzerTag state news agency reported.
The quiz held by Azerbaijani businessman Emil Hasanov aimed to popularize Azerbaijan in Germany, inform the Germans on socio-political development of the country, its tourism potential and national-spiritual values.
Hasanov said he has been holding a quiz about Azerbaijan in Germany in the last six years. At his words, the participants who answer correctly the questions on Azerbaijan are announced winners and they are invited to a 10-day travel to Azerbaijan.
Susanna Vegeres, one of the winners, said she was "happy to be in Azerbaijan, to enjoy hospitability of Azerbaijanis." She especially "likes tandir bread that is very tasty", she said.
Another German guest Stephan Filos expressed admiration for the nature of Azerbaijan, in particular, the weather and forests in the south regions of country and its delicious cuisine.
Hasanov said he has decided to take Azerbaijanis to visit Germany, too. And related quiz involving about 100 people has already been organized in Masalli region.
Shafa Agayeva, a student, has won the quiz and will visit Germany together with two of her friends.
