Two Azerbaijani children were adopted by foreign families during the first half of 2014.
Deputy Chief of the Legal Support Department under the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Vasila Mohsumova said the aforementioned statement to APA.
According to her, the children were adopted by Azerbaijani families respectively residing in the United States and Georgia.
Both children are male.
Mohsumova added that no amendments have yet been made to the rules of Azerbaijani children’s adoption by foreigners.
