A warning notice was issued for this year’s Hajj pilgrims from Azerbaijan not to allow illegal actions during the pilgrimage.

The pilgrims who violate the warning will be punished by the laws of Saudi Arabia.

Depending on the severity of the punishment, death penalty is also expected.

The Caucasian Muslim Board told APA that the warning notice will be submitted to the pilgrims together with their visa documents. The pilgrims will sign the notice after being familiar with it.

According to the warning notice during the pilgrimage the pilgrims should not drink alcohol, abstain from adultery, not join any political and religious sects and avoid the acts which cause death or other malicious acts, any political campaigns or communities. Otherwise they will be punished by the laws of Saudi Arabia.

The death penalty is intended for incitement to death by creating sectarian and religious conflicts, for adultery and drinking alcohol.

The notice which is issued in a short form each year is more extensive and explanatory this year.

It is a warning for pilgrims traveling from all over the world.

The Hajj pilgrimage quota from Azerbaijan is already filled. Hajj pilgrimage from Azerbaijan will start on September 23. One flight will be operated on the first day. Following this, two or three flights will be operated every day. The flights from Azerbaijan will last till September 28. Azerbaijanis will return from Hajj pilgrimage 5 days after Eid al-Adha – approximately on October 10. Eid al-Adha will be marked in Azerbaijan on October 4-5. The document admission for Haji pilgrimage in Azerbaijan was started on February 13. Reducing the number of pilgrims exceeding the limit will depend on the Caucasian Muslims Board. Some of the registered people will be likely reduced as they have not paid for the service. The prices of Hajj pilgrimage is AZN 3250 for the hotel with weak conditions, where meals are served twice a day, AZN 4100 for the hotel with better conditions, where various kinds of meals are served. Hajj pilgrimage will be available only by plane. This year the pilgrims can not travel to Hajj by buses due to the unrests in Syria.
