Azerbaijani journalists will be sent on an official trip to several provinces of Iran, Mohsen Pak Ayeen, the Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan said at a press conference on June 20.
He pointed out that a group of Azerbaijani journalists have recently visited Iran's Ardabil province and got acquainted with the cultural and historical monuments, as well as the region's economic potential.
Pak Ayeen went on to add that such visits contribute to the development of relations between the two countries.
Azerbaijani journalists will visit Iran's Gilan, East and West Azerbaijan and Mazandaran provinces.
The ambassador underscored that he will seek to organize such visits on a regular basis.
