An earthquake has hit Azerbaijan's Kalbajar district, which is under the occupation of Armenian armed forces, the Republican Seismological Service Center of Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) told Trend on May 6.

The earthquake happened 63 kilometers to the south-west of the city of Ganja, in the territory of the Kalbajar district, at 12:56:13 local time, May 6.

Its center was located at a depth of 25 kilometers.

No damage has been reported, as the area, where the earthquake occurred, is under the occupation of Armenian armed forces.
