The Weather Forecast Bureau of the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told APA that the average monthly temperature in May is expected to be close to normal, 2…4 C above the normal in the first half of the month and below the normal on some days in the second half of the month.
Monthly rains will be mainly close to normal. But it is expected to be above normal in some places.
The average monthly temperature in Baku and Absheron peninsula will be 17…20 C (11…16 C at nights, 20…25 C in the daytimes and 28…30 C on some days), so it is close to normal and a bit above.
Monthly precipitation will be close to normal (18-21 mm) and is expected to be above normal in some areas.
