Teachers studied abroad have been forbidden to teach some subjects in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

The rules for determination of teachers’ requirements in secondary and vocational schools, personal replacement and recruitment approved under the Education Minister’s order prohibit the recruitment of teachers, who studied abroad, on the basis of hourly pay and temporary labor contract for teaching public subjects.

It is allowed to recruit teachers from other schools on the basis of hourly pay and temporary labor contract to the places left vacant after the completion of teacher recruitment competition. Teacher recruitment to the institutions of the Education Ministry, which consists of three stages (assessment of data in electronic application, test and interview), is carried out with application of e-program.
