The Memorial Park in honor of the Khojaly genocide will be opened in Turkey's capital Ankara.
The park, built with the support of the K?z?lc?hamam municipality and the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ankara, will be inaugurated on the 22-th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide on February 26, Turkish media reported.
The construction of the park was launched on 26 February 2012.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Turkey Faig Bagirov and K?z?lc?hamam municipality head Coskun Unal examined the construction of the Memorial Park.
In 1992, the town of Khojaly, the second largest town in Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, came under intensive fire from the towns of Khankendi and Askeran already occupied by the Armenian armed forces.
