Presentation of the book prepared by Davide Gualtieri, Professor at Milan Conservatory after Giuseppe Verdi, will be held in Baku Thursday.
Titled “Contemporary Poetry of Azerbaijan”, the book includes poems by renowned Azerbaijani poets, including Mammad Araz and Fikrat Qoja.
Secretaries of the Azerbaijani Writers` Union Fikrat Qoja and Rashad Majid attended the presentation of the book in Milan on February 7.
The poems in the book are presented both in Azerbaijani and Italian languages. Literal translation of the poems belongs to Mais Nuriyev, the head of Azerbaijan`s Culture Association in Italy. The foreword was written by famous turkologist Giampiero Bellingeri.
