The commissioning of the Ferris wheel which is being built in Baku boulevard and considered one of the largest in Europe is expected on the New Year eve.
The deputy director of the seaside boulevard office Nazim Majidov told that the new roundabout is planned to be put into operation on December 25.
According to him, the new year trees will be installed in 15 different places in Baku boulevard related to the New Year preparations. Santa Claus and Snow Maiden will welcome the Baku residents and guests next to each tree.
"The largest new year tree will be installed in front of the Ferris wheel. It was erected near the Puppet theater last year. People in Baku will see the decorated trees, Santas and Snow Maidens after December 20" promised Majidov.
