A series of presentations on prospects for development of Azerbaijan, as well as the country`s business environment have been held in Japan.

Second Secretary of Azerbaijan`s Embassy to Japan Rovshan Mirzayev, as well as representatives of Japanese companies attended the event.

Japanese World Investors TV Manager Kazuyasu Ishida, representative of the “Cross Border Club” Company Toru Oe provided an insight into Azerbaijan`s economic growth in recent years. They also said World Bank and other international financial organizations praised economic reforms in Azerbaijan, as well as the country`s business environment.

Toru Oe briefed the participants on “Khazar islands”, “Baku White City” projects, as well as construction of a new terminal of the Heydar Aliyev international Airport and the Heydar Aliyev Centre.

Kazuyasu Ishida highlighted Azerbaijan`s achievements in establishing the fruitful business environment over the last years.

The participants also praised reforms carried out in Azerbaijan in the legislative sphere, simplified procedures for the foreign investors, and noted the important role of implementation of the single-window system in promoting the entrepreneurship.
