The Plenum of the Georgian Constitutional Court has today elected Giorgi Papuashvili as a the Court’s chairman for the second term, Constitutional Court said.

First Papuashvili was elected to this post in 2006. The Constitutional Court’s chairman is elected for a term of five years.

Prior to this post, Papuashvili was the Georgian Justice Minister and Minister of Environment.
