The CIS International Economic Forum "20 years together: the experience of cooperation and prospects" will be held in Moscow on March 18, the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth reported on Monday.
The event organized by the Executive Committee and business center of the CIS economic development, will be attended by representatives of the executive and legislative authorities, private businesses, the largest investment and financial organizations, research and expert centers, professional associations and unions of all countries of the Commonwealth, General Director of Business Center for Economic Development of the CIS Vladimir Savchenko.
The forum is planned to discuss CIS Economic Development Strategy for the period up to 2020, urgent problems of the Treaty on the free trade area and the Interstate Program of Innovation cooperation of the CIS for the period up to 2020, results of operation of the Customs Union and the prospects for creating a common economic space.
The Forum Agenda also includes Tajikistan's proposals in the sphere of economic integration, the issues of promoting mutually beneficial business contacts between business communities of the Commonwealth, support, development and popularization of the most significant projects and attract potential investors and customers, and also support inventors, developers and manufacturers of high technology products in the development of Russian and foreign markets, technology and knowledge-based products.
The forum will hold an exhibition of innovative projects, organize the work platform for dialogue, "The development of the business climate in the CIS: a presentation of possibilities", within which participants can get acquainted with promising projects, to exchange views with representatives of executive authorities and businesses for further expansion of business cooperation. Individual Forum events will award ceremony in the categories "Business Leader of the CIS" and "Leader of the economic integration of the CIS."
The forum will be completed with the adoption of the final document to be submitted to the supreme legislative and executive authorities of the Commonwealth as an analytical and advisory information.
