Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II failed to come to Baku, where the World Religious Leaders' Summit is held in Baku today.

His Holiness, who is under a rehabilitation course in the Czech Republic, was forced to stay for a few days in hospital at the insistence of doctors, the Patriarchy of Georgia told Trend.

Despite the fact that the patriarch considers it important to participate in the inter-religious summit, he could not attend the summit due to urgent request of doctors.

Bishop Gerasim represents Georgia at the summit in Baku.
