Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko reported that last Sunday two journalists of Georgian TV channel Imedi were beaten up in Donetsk.

Viktor Yanukovich is the main rival of Tymoshenko at the elections, and believes the situation to be a provocation.

According to the Bloc press service, on Saturday Georgian journalists tried to interview in Yanukovich's office in Donetsk, but were pushed out of the building, and in some time - beaten up.

Leader of the Party of Regions in response said he intended to address Mikheil Saakashvili - RIA Novosti.

In his view, these actions of the Georgian government are inadmissible.

"I would like to address Saakashvili to recall his so-called monitors. We don't need them, we'll do without them. And I would like to address President Yushchenko to let him protect electors' rights and Constitution of Ukraine," he said.

Past Sunday 18 candidates ran for President of Ukraine. None managed to win 50 per cent of votes plus one vote, necessary to win in the first tour. The second will be held on February 7th: Viktor Yanukovich versus Yulia Tymoshenko.
