Turkey intends to purchase coal mines in Ukraine, the Turkish newspaper ‘Enerjigunlugu’ reported March 12.

It is also expected that this year, Turkey will rent a gas storage in Ukraine.

Earlier, the Ukrainian government decided to reform the country’s coal industry. As many as 10 enterprises should be closed, and the remaining 24 - privatized.
