An earthquake of MPV 6.2 magnitude has struck Kyrgyzstan, said the Seismological Experimental-Methodical Expedition of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan. The earthquake occurred November 17 at 11:29 p.m. (GMT + 6 hours). The epicenter of the quake was located 430 kilometers to the southwest of the city of Almaty at a depth of 0-5 kilometers. The quake's tremors of 3.0 magnitude were felt in Kazakhstan as well - in cities of Shymkent and Taraz, the Merke village. The city of Almaty felt the magnitude 2.0 tremors. /By Trend/
