Armenian police initially released information in early 2014 that they confiscated 928 kilograms of heroin, but then said they confiscated only 850 kilograms of heroin in the first five months of 2014.

The law enforcers did not specify where 78 kilograms of heroin have gone, Armenia Today reported on July 4.

Speaking at a press conference on June 26, the Deputy Chief of the First Department for Combating Drug Trafficking of the Armenian Police, Tigran Saakyan did not conceal the fact that there are differences in figures.

Asked about how 850 kilograms of heroin could be confiscated in the first five months of 2014, and 928 kilograms confiscated only in a month, Saakyan said that (928 kg) was the figure from initial weighing.
