Iranian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham said on Friday Iran is opposed to any kind of stockpiling and use of nuclear weapons, IRNA reported.
Afkham made the remarks in reaction to a comment by French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius before the French Senate.
She expressed surprise about remarks of Fabius, saying based on its principled stand, Iran has never been seeking nuclear weapons and is opposed to weapons of mass.
