If we intend to participate in Geneva II, our presence there would definitely be unconditional, general manager of Foreign Ministry Middle East and North Africa Office said Monday night, IRNA reported.

"Iran's presence can contribute to faster finding of a political solution for the Syrian crisis," said Reza Ameri on the sidelines of a commemoration service for the late wife of the Palestinian ambassador to Tehran on Nour Mosque.

He added, "The Islamic Republic of Iran is both an influential country in the region and has always been a part of the solution for the Syrian crisis."

The Foreign Ministry officials reiterated, "Geneva II can be the beginning of a political process aimed at resolving the Syrian crisis."

Ameri reiterated, "Geneva II could be successful though, only if all the involved sides would be able to present their consultative viewpoints in a well-wishing framework."

On his evaluation of the Takfiri groups' recent conduct in the region, he said, "One of the major problems with which the Islamic world is entangled today is the existence of these Takfiri groups, which pretend to be Muslims and with their deeds defame Islam."

The political analyst reiterated that such moves cannot be confirmed and accepted in any religion, and are definitely strongly condemned and non-defendable from our point of the view.

Ameri reiterated, "These groups have assumed that by making the region insecure they can achieve their nasty objectives, which is a grave mistake."

He said that in order to fight against terrorism and the Takfiri terrorist's, both regional cooperation and reaching full consensus over the need to uproot them are needed.

A Takfiri terrorist is a hypocrite pretending to be a Muslim who accuses Muslim of every possible school of thought of apostasy. The accusation itself is called Takfir, derived from the word kafir (infidel) and is described as when ?...one who is of claims to be, a Muslim is declared impure by a Takfiri.?

In principle the only group authorized to declare a Muslim a kafir is the authentic top clerics, and this is only done once all the prescribed legal precautions have been taken.

However, a growing number of splinter Salafist groups almost totally affiliated to the Wahabi Saudis, labeled by some scholars as Salafi-Takfiris, have split from the orthodox method of establishing Takfiri through the processes of the law, and have reserved the right to declare apostasy themselves against both Shi'a and Sunni true Muslims.
