The Tbilisi police has defused a mine underneath the car of the personal driver of Israeli Ambassador to Georgia Itzhak Gerberg on Monday. The driver Roman Khachaturian noticed a black plastic bag taped underneath the car, Real TV Channel reported.

He immediately called the police, which in turn called sappers. They found a grenade, which was quickly defused. The special services have transferred this car to a special car park for study;
It should be noted that in the past two weeks sappers were called to different parts of Tbilisi three times due to suspicious unattended luggage. The embassy has not commented on the incident yet.
