Azerbaijani MP Fuad Muradov has discussed the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict at the Parliament of Iceland. Muradov raised his Icelandic counterparts` awareness of the history and consequences of the conflict

He highlighted the fact of occupation of 20% of Azerbaijan`s territory by Armenia.
“More than one million Azerbaijanis wee expelled from their homelands as a result of the Armenian aggression.”

“Despite the adoption of 4 resolutions by the UN Security Council the Armenian side ignores them. The Armenians continue to violate the ceasefire agreement, which kills thousands of peaceful residents.”

Muradov also praised Azerbaijan`s role in ensuring energy security of Europe. They also discussed the Azerbaijan-Iceland relations.
