Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev congratulated Maldivian President Mohamed Nasheed on national holiday.
"I sincerely congratulate you and your people on the national holiday - Independence Day. I hope that the friendly and partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Maldives will constantly develop and expand in line with the interests of our peoples," the message reads.
President Aliyev wished Mohamed Nasheed success in his work, peace and prosperity to the friendly Maldivian people.
