US ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Brayza welcomed the development of non-oil sector in Azerbaijan.
According to APA-ECONOMICS, this statement was made at the Business Opportunities for US and Azerbaijan 7th business and investment conference, which organized by USACC.
According to him, the financial stability has changed the country to useful place for investments: "Azerbaijan has left the global financial crisis behind and this makes us happy".
Ambassador noted that, he had met the development of agriculture, stimulation of agrarian sector and government’s works on supporting of farmers: "One of the spheres for investments may be agriculture". He also reminded the Minister of Communication and IT Ali Abbasov’s visit to Washington.
Stressing the Azerbaijan’s geographical location diplomat spoke about the changing opportunities of the country to transport junction: "The extension of airports and ports will support the increase of these opportunities".
Reminding Azerbaijan’s victory in Eurovision-2011 ambassador noted that, this victory would support the development of the country: "Every one, visiting Azerbaijan, confesses that, this country develops. Abovementioned issues are positive for development of Azerbaijan and US is ready to support Azerbaijan in this sphere".
