Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to President of Ireland Mrs. Mary McAleese on the country's national holiday.
The letter says "on behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan, I convey my most sincere congratulations to You and Your people on your national holiday – Saint Patrick's Day.
I hope that the development of friendly and cooperative relations between Azerbaijan and Ireland will further serve the welfare of our peoples.
On this remarkable day, I wish you robust health, successes in Your activities, peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Ireland.”
