A head of the Union of Cultures Committee of the Turkish National Commission for UNESCO Mehmet Kalpakci told AzerTAc that the World Forum for Cross-cultural Dialogue due be held in Baku sparked great interest in Turkey.
Kalpakci noted that it is not accidental that such the event would be held in Azerbaijan, the country, which is known as a modern and tolerant one. He highly praised Azerbaijan`s role in the intercultural dialogue.
Kalpakci stressed the significance of the event which will contribute to international cooperation on preventing religious radicalism, ensuring freedom of conscience and religion.
